The Notification Center lets the panel warn you about important events in your account, such as a full disk, a mailbox reaching its quota or a login from a new place. Warnings can be sent by email, shown in the panel, or both.
Where to find it: CWP Settings → Notifications.
Switch on notifications
- Switch Enable notifications to ON. The options below become active.
- Under Notifications, switch on the events you want to hear about.
- Under Notifications channel, choose how you want to be told.
Every switch is saved immediately; there is no separate Save button.
Events
| Event | When you are notified |
|---|---|
| Disk space quota | Your account is close to its disk space limit |
| Website change detector | The index page of one of your websites changed. A change you did not make can be a sign of a hacked site. |
| Email space limit | One or more mailboxes are close to their quota |
| Bandwidth quota limit | Your monthly bandwidth use passes a level you choose (see below) |
| New Login alert | Someone logged in to your panel |
| Account password change | The password of your account was changed |
Bandwidth settings
Click the gear next to Bandwidth quota limit to choose:
- Notify after reach: the percentage of your bandwidth quota (50% to 95%) at which the first warning is sent.
- Daily after limit above: keep sending a daily update once that level is reached.
- On total limit reached: send a warning when the whole quota is used up.
Channels
| Channel | What it does |
|---|---|
| By Email | Sends the notifications by email. Click the gear to set Send email to (the address that receives the notifications) and, if you want, the From Address and From name of these emails. |
| Visuals | Shows the notifications in the panel, under the bell icon in the top bar |
| Mobile notifications | Not available yet |
Note: Make sure the notification address is not a mailbox on the same account that might be full or suspended — otherwise you will not receive the warning about it. An external address (for example Gmail) is the safest choice.
