Products, clients and services, invoices, payment gateways, domains and the daily automation.
Billing automation
Once a day the billing runs its automation: it creates renewal invoices, charges saved cards, sends reminders, adds late fees, and suspends and terminates overdue services. It runs from the cron (bin/console cron) at the hour you choose.
Products and orders
Products are what your clients order: hosting packages, VPS, licenses, support plans, or anything else. Each product has prices per billing cycle and can be linked to a server module that creates the account automatically after payment.
Clients and services
A client is a customer account: company or person, address, currency, language and account credit. A client has services (products they ordered), domains, invoices and tickets. Several users can log in to one client account, each with their own permissions.
Invoices, payments and taxes
Invoices are created automatically for orders and renewals, or by staff. Clients pay them in the client area with any active payment gateway or with account credit. A paid invoice is never changed. Corrections and refunds are made with credit notes.
Payment gateways
Clients pay invoices with Stripe (cards and the wallets you enable in Stripe Checkout), PayPal, Skrill or bank transfer. Card data never touches your server. Stripe and PayPal show their own payment page.
Domains
The billing sells domain registrations, transfers and renewals. A paid domain order is registered at the registrar automatically, and renewal invoices go out before the domain expires.
