Free trial
Install without a license key and the billing starts a 15-day free trial for its domain. Every feature works, nothing is limited. During the trial the admin area shows how many days are left and links to the order page.
- One trial per domain. Reinstalling on the same domain does not start a new trial.
- The trial sends the domain and the admin e-mail from the installation to the license server, so we can contact you about it.
- When you buy a license, enter its key under License and version in the admin area. All your data stays as it is. You do not need to reinstall.

License
A license is valid for one installation on one domain, which is the host name of the billing URL. Subdomains count as separate domains. The license is billed monthly or yearly and includes updates and support.

| Trial ended or license unpaid | Only the admin area stops and shows the license page. Your customers’ client area, payments, provisioning and the cron keep running. No data is deleted. |
| Moving to a new domain | Use Reissue on the license in your client area, then click Check now under License and version. |
The license page also shows the version installed, whether a new version is available, and the button Apply database updates after an update.
What is sent to the license server
Once a day the billing sends us these details:
- the domain;
- the server IP;
- the CWP Billing version and the PHP version;
- a random installation id.
A trial also sends the admin e-mail from the installation. Your clients, invoices, tickets and passwords stay on your server. We have no access to them.
Terms
The full terms are in LICENSE.md in the package. In short:
- one license per domain;
- no reverse engineering of the encoded files;
- no reselling of the software as a hosted service.
There are no refunds. Test everything with the free trial before you buy.
Templates, themes, translations and e-mail texts are delivered unencoded, and you may change them freely.
