As a reseller you sell hosting through packages. A package defines the limits of each customer account (disk space, mailboxes, databases …), and features decide which panel modules those customers can use.
Where to find it: Reseller → Packages and Features tabs.
Create a package
- Open the Packages tab and click Add new Package.
- Enter the Package Name, for example Starter.
- Set the limits. Enter a number, or tick Unlimited (Set unlimited) where allowed:
| Limit | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Disk Quota | Disk space in MB for files, email and databases |
| Bandwidth | Monthly data transfer in MB |
| FTP Accounts | Extra FTP accounts |
| Email Accounts | Mailboxes |
| Email Lists | Mailing lists |
| Databases | MySQL/MariaDB databases |
| Sub Domains, Parked Domains, Addon Domains | Maximum number of each |
| Hourly Emails | How many emails the account may send per hour — protects your reputation if a customer’s site is abused to send spam |
- Click Save.
The total of all your customers’ usage cannot exceed the limits of your own reseller plan, shown on the Reseller Dashboard.
Edit a package to change its limits for every account that uses it. A package that still has accounts cannot be deleted (There are accounts associated with this package); move those accounts to another package first.
Features (allowed modules)
By default, all features are available in packages without specific settings. To limit what customers on a package can use:
- Open the Features tab and click Add new features setting.
- Choose the package.
- Tick the modules customers on that package may use — for example File Manager, Email Accounts, MySQL Manager, AutoSSL, Node.js Apps, MongoDB or Postgres. Click Show more features to see them all; use Uncheck All to start from nothing.
- Click Save.
Modules that are not ticked are hidden from those customers’ panels. Use Edit settings to change the selection or Delete settings to return the package to the default (all features).
Note: Some modules also need software or a license on the server (for example Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL or CWP Pro modules). Enabling a feature here does not install that software.
