To sell hosting under your own brand, your customers should see your name everywhere — not the hosting provider’s. Work through this checklist once, before you create customer accounts.
1. Your own domain for the service
Use a domain you own, for example yourbrand.com, for your nameservers and as the address customers use to reach their panel.
2. Private nameservers
- Ask your hosting provider for the IP addresses to use for your nameservers.
- At the registrar of
yourbrand.com, register glue records (also called child nameservers or host records):ns1.yourbrand.comandns2.yourbrand.comwith those IPs. - In the user panel open Reseller → Nameservers, enter
ns1.yourbrand.comandns2.yourbrand.comand save. Let the panel update existing customer DNS zones when it asks. - Tell customers to set
ns1.yourbrand.comandns2.yourbrand.comat their own registrar.
Glue records can take up to 24–48 hours to work everywhere.
3. Panel branding
In Reseller → Branding:
- upload your logo (PNG, about 200 px wide),
- set the footer text,
- set the user panel title (browser tab),
- set the from name and from address for automatic backup emails.
4. A branded panel address
Create a subdomain such as panel.yourbrand.com pointing (A record) to the server IP. Customers can then log in at https://panel.yourbrand.com:2083. Ask your provider whether the server certificate covers that name, or install a certificate for it.
5. Your own email and support
- Use an address on your own domain (for example
support@yourbrand.com) as the contact address in customer accounts and in branding settings. - Point customers to your own help pages, or link to the user documentation.
6. Test as a customer
Create a test customer account, log in with Autologin from the account list, and check the logo, title, nameservers in the DNS zone and the emails it receives.
