A reseller account is a hosting account that can create and manage hosting accounts for its own customers. Resellers sell hosting under their own brand while the hosting provider runs the server.
How reselling works in CWP
- The server administrator creates a reseller account with a reseller package. That package sets the total resources the reseller may hand out and how many customer accounts they may create.
- The reseller logs in to the normal user panel, where an extra Reseller menu appears. There they create their own packages, customer accounts, nameservers and branding.
- Each customer gets their own user panel, limited by the package the reseller assigned. Customers do not see the hosting provider’s name if the reseller uses private nameservers and branding.

Limits
Everything the reseller’s customers use counts towards the reseller’s own package. The Reseller Dashboard shows the totals: disk quota, bandwidth, FTP and email accounts, domains, databases and the number of accounts. When a limit is reached, the reseller cannot create more of that resource until they free some up or get a bigger reseller plan.
